The meetings:
who convened the room

Epstein convened scientists and technologists for two decades. The record shows he did not merely attend Mindshift — he announced it, staffed it, and set its schedule.

The Question
What ideas were discussed inside the intellectual networks Epstein placed himself within, and what role did he play in connecting the participants?
Attendance at a meeting involving Jeffrey Epstein is not evidence of criminal activity or of knowledge of his crimes. What the documents establish is a convening function — and, in the case of Mindshift, that he directed it personally.

Section 02

The Edge Dinners — and What Continued After 2008

The clearest finding from the rewrite is chronological. Epstein’s place in the Edge Foundation orbit did not end with his 2008 conviction. Invitations continue through 2014.

A February 2014 message — "Confidential — Invitation — Edge Dinner — Vancouver" — recounts the event’s renaming "from the Millionaires’ Dinner to the Billionaires’ Dinner." In April, an invitation to the annual Edge London dinner: "Dear Jeffrey… It would be great if you could come."

Correspondence also shows the ordinary texture of the relationship — in 2013 his office asking Edge for driving directions to Brockman’s farm; in 2012 a correspondent debating the Billionaires’ Dinner with him and recalling sitting "with Paul Allen."

Being invited to a dinner is not wrongdoing, and no attendee is accused of anything here. The documented fact is narrower and still notable: a network that kept inviting him after he was a registered sex offender.

Section 03

"Bitcoin Guys," June 2011

On 6 June 2011 Brockman emailed Epstein under the subject "bitcoin guys." The next day: "Bowling for Bitcoins: Meet the Trader 05: Gavin Andresen" — then Bitcoin’s lead developer, successor to Satoshi Nakamoto. Epstein replied "Re: Gavin Andresen?"; Groff logged a response on the 15th.

A claim that circulates about this needs correcting. Bitcoin’s whitepaper is from October 2008 and the network launched in January 2009 — before Mindshift and two years before this exchange. Nothing here suggests Epstein created or funded Bitcoin. It documents a 2011 attempt to reach its lead developer through a literary agent.

No document shows a meeting, investment or transaction resulting from it. Unresolved

The Recorded Interviews

Mindshift-era material describes Epstein conducting separately taped one-on-one interviews with invited scientists. Secondary

Full-text search across 1,332,999 documents returns no recording, transcript, or inventory entry corresponding to them. The phrase "taped interview" appears in the corpus only in connection with litigation and victim interviews — not scientists.

Unlocated primary material Unlocated It remains not found in this index, which covers 94.1% of released documents.

It is not a finding that anything was withheld. We have no evidence responsive recordings were possessed and not released.

Were they to exist they would matter: recordings of a convicted sex offender interviewing working scientists, made after his conviction, on his property, at his direction.
